Abstract
There are 27 million enslaved people across the globe most of whom are females. Globalization did not only smash the national borders for exchange of goods and information, it fuelled the flow of white slavery (female trafficking for sexual exploitation) too, which became an acute illness that it's virtually incurable. Prepared for a Megatrend International University Vienna course in sociology. First published in Weekly Rudaw (Kurdish Newspaper) as a summary.
